Phoenix and Ashley enter obedience at AKC and were excited to capture HIC
under Stephen Hazelwood.
Littermates CH Heartstrings You Got It (Joey) and CH Heartstrings Celebrity (JC) were awarded
Best Brace in Specialty under Glenda Henson at the ASSCA Specialty show in Calgary.
May 2007
Band City show in Moose Jaw – Kaczbar’s Guns Ablazen Ksenia goes BOB and Best Puppy in Breed
under Phyllis Wolfish for his first 3 points first time out.
Ashley attend the 2006 Provincial Jr. Handling Finals and is first place in her class
and also High Aggregate winner.
June 2007
Ashley attends the 4-H Canine Show at Prairieland Jr. Ag. Showcase in Saskatoon and
was the Junior High Point Winner.
July 2007
EKKOC
Gunner, Kaczbar’s Guns Ablazen Ksenia was BOW and BPIG under Heather Logan.
On the Sunday, under Nancy Popovich, Gunner earned his championship with another BOW and
Best Puppy in Breed. This was only his 4th time in the ring at 11 months of age. What a little showman!!
Thanks goes to judge Norman Corbett (Spain) for presenting my brace of Joey and JC
with Best Brace in Show!!! How exciting for breeder Leona Stringer of Heartstrings Shelties
to have bred such lovely littermates.

I had the pleasure showing CH Heartstrings Heads Will Turn CGN (Nikki).
Under judge Fred Dewsbury, Nikki not only took BOB but also a Group 1st.
I also showed CH Shobna Ace of Spades (Ace) for Heartstrings and Ace too was BOB
and Group 2nd under Archie Warnock.
My own boy CH Heartstrings You Got It was shown by Ashley and was BOS 4 of the 6 shows.
Ashley again placed 1st in Jr Handling and was reserve best overall.
AKC
Heartstrings Lites Out Ksenia (Kilie), Ch Heartstrings You Got It (Joey) and
CH Heartstrings Rainy Daze (Raina) all earned their CGN titles.
Kilie and Phoenix also earned their first legs in Rally-O.
Paige and Pheonix had a lovely run in obedience and earned another HIC.
Since Joey is off to his new obedience home in September, this was
the last chance to show littermates Joey and JC in Brace. These boys
didn’t disappoint me or breeder Leona Stringer because they were
Best Brace In Group under Richard Beauchamp on Sunday and on Monday
under Darle Heck were also Best Brace In Group 7. Thanks boys for being
the great team you are!!

Ashley proudly shows “Chip” – Cowcutta’s Up The Ante owned by
Kathy Chorney and Jennifer Seaborn (Cowcutta Australian Cattle Dogs)
in the Working and Herding specialty under judge Cheryl Stuber
and is awarded BOB and Best Puppy in Breed.
Thanks to Kathy for letting me show my new favorite breed.
